  Tips to help you clear the clutter and chaos from your space and time.


Specify a time that you will work on a defined area that is cluttered - make a date with yourself to get it done.

Purge the piles - doing a quick sort and pitching the stuff that you don't want to keep will reduce the pile quickly - instant gratification!

Approach clearing the clutter with how it will free up space to move ahead?

Clearing away one small area at a time will keep you motivated and less likely to be overwhelmed or discouraged.

Every effort that you make, it doesn't matter how small, will help you realize your end goal, clutter free - so just get started.

I mplement a date book, calendar, electronic organizer and use it for everything, both at work and at home.

Make sure you are realistic about your pace and how you schedule your day.  If it takes 1/2 an hour to get to an appointment, factor that in!

Every day should have some time set aside for you.  This can be a short walk, a quiet cup of coffee, a long bath - take care of you.
